Stornoway Glass Company was established in the 1970s as a result of demand from our customers to provide a glass stockist and glazing services on the islands, from its small beginnings which consisted of supplying standard clear & obscure glass we now carry a large range of all types of glass & glazing materials.
Double Glazing.
We also manufacture our own double glazed units at our premises which means we can produce if necessary a replacement unit within the day, this is a great advantage as normally the lead time can be up to 2 weeks.
Safety Glass.
Laminated & toughened safety glass to BS6206 is available in all thicknesses & patterns.
Acrylic.
Perspex, Styrene & Polycarbonate are available in a variety of thicknesses & colours.
Mirrors, Table tops, Shelves.
Mirrors in 6mm & 4mm thicknesses are always in stock and can be cut, shaped, polished & holed to your requirements, wardrobe sliding doors can also be manufactured to size.
Fire Resistant.
Wired clear & obscure, Pyrodur, Pyrostop & Pyrosheild fire / smoke rated glass.
